Colorado Rockies and Toyota
The VIP Clubhouse, Coors Field
Denver, CO, 2024
In 2024 Toyota and the Colorado Rockies completed a full renovation of the VIP Clubhouse at Coors Field. This space is a premium experience for their top tier ticket holders, players, and visiting executives. I was brought in to create murals to help create a strong impact, tell the story of the Rockies history, connect with the fans, and to express the Co-Branding partnership between the Rockies and Toyota.
The project involved 6 large scale murals, the flagship being the "Rockies Greatness" mural - a 90 foot long, 10 foot high piece featuring their highlight players like Hall of Famers Todd Helton and Larry Walker, highlight moments, mountain scenes, cityscapes, and more. Other murals showcased Coors Field, Toyota's Tundra in the outfield with a baseball in the bed, The Rockies sign, the Evolution of the Landcruiser, and a view of homeplate with all the past managers in the seats.
There were 12 paintings on canvas featuring Toyota's full lineup of featured vehicles, and the top 6 players on the Rockies. These canvases were intended to be updated as new vehicle models are updated and new players step in. All artwork was cohesively colored in grey scale with the only color being Rockies purple and Toyota red.
